Nina Reads - journal skin beta

Journal Entry: Wed Mar 9, 2011, 1:37 AM
Please come in, take a look, and give me your opinion.

Be honest: Is the button on the right a bit too much?
And are there any other big mistakes here? Please tell me what the problem is (maybe take a screenshot), and what browser you are using.

The object of this journal skin is the lovely Nina from *Crave-The-Bullet’s comic Between Failures. Thanks to him for letting me use his drawing.

Hopefully, most of you have screens big enough, so there’s space enough for the text here. Which also is what the ongoing poll is for.

The wallpapers that gave me inspiration for this skin:

Edit: I’m working furiously on the button on the right, please excuse me if I spam you a little bit. I try not to do it too much.

  • Mood: Artistic
  • Listening to: Sounds of the city
  • Reading: Between Failures
  • Watching: The snow fall… WTF?!
  • Playing: Hopefully very soon Dragon Age 2
  • Eating: Not yet
  • Drinking: Saft

Yeah, the button is probably too much. It's a little too much like an ad. The stuff next to Nina is more than enough I think. You don't want the skin to overpower the content of the blog using it.

And thus the king has spoken! And i completely agree. It did seem like a good idea when I begun, but I think it’s better gone, if you’re happy with the credits in the bottom.

Yeah, those are fine. I'm not clear on how you use a journal skin though. XD

Well, there are two ways to do it. It’s the way where I mail you the CSS code and image-file, and you copy-paste it in into the skin-editor. That way you can keep it all to yourself.
The other way is that I upload it as an installable skin. That way everyone can click a button and then choose it in the journalwriter.

Neat. You're gonna give it to everybody then?

It is kind of made for everybody, but as I said earlier, it‘s up to you. Your drawing, your call.
